Industrial Pollution
Public Protection acts to monitor, prevent
and control environmental pollution in the borough and promote
environmental improvement. We work with the local industries,
authorised under the Environmental Permitting Regulations (2007),
to reduce the impact of their activities on the environment and on
the lives of Newham residents.
