We will provide an interpreter to any Newham resident who is a non-English speaker and needs to talk to someone from the Council, Primary Care Trust or other public service organisation.

All you have to do is arrange this in advance with the organisation you are talking to. Let them know which language you speak and they will book an interpreter for you, who will assist you either in person or over the phone.

You will not have to pay for the interpreter.
