Find out about some of the projects of the
Access to Jobs partnership.
Some of the projects that have been steered by the
partnership include:
- The Docklands Recruitment Centre -
matching job seekers with job opportunities in the construction and
hospitality sectors and in a partnership project with Jobcentre
Plus. It is based close to the ExCeL exhibition
centre
- The Learning Development Centre -
An innovative project to help local people access jobs in Newham`s
Docklands and provide workforce development training. The training
centre has two state-of-the-art computer suites and a seminar room
to provide customer service training. This is also near
ExCeL
- Jobshac - job brokerage to provide access to
jobs in the health and social care sector based at Newham General
Hospital
