Learning Community Services

What we do

We aim to raise expectation, motivation and achievement amongst young people and adults by increasing their participation in the learning process.

These aims are achieved by:

  • Supporting schools to raise achievement
  • Supporting young people and their parents to become engaged in learning
  • Building partnerships that support the learning of young people and their families

One of the main ways we deliver these objectives is by supporting schools and other educational centres to provide Study Support/Out of School Hours Learning (OSHL) for pupils and families in Newham.
