We offer a wide variety of reading groups at our libraries, with groups aimed at all ages and in a number of community languages. They are all free of charge and are a great place to meet new people!
2008 is the National Year of Reading and Newham's libraries will be holding a wide range of events and promotions across the borough. Join a reading group, meet an author or take part in a competition! We also have lots of fun suggestions on new ways to enjoy reading on your own or with others.
You can always ask for advice on a good book when you visit a library, but the staff at Newham's libraries are so passionate about books they just have to share some of their favourite reads with you over the internet as well! Every week throughout the National Year of Reading we will bring you a new review of some of their favourite books.
