- Can I join if I don't live in
Newham?
- Yes you can.
- What ID do I need to join?
- We ask for one form of ID and it must show your name and
current address. Some accepted forms of ID include your driver's
licence, Council Tax bill or a current utilities bill (dated within
the last two months).
- Is it free to borrow all items?
- All books are free to borrow. There are small charges for the
hire of CDs and DVDs, although some concessions are available.

- Can I return borrowed items to other
libraries?
- Yes, you can return books, DVDs, CDs, videos and talking books
to any Newham library including the mobile library.
- How many items can I borrow?
- Adults may borrow up to 10 books at any one time as well as
four audio-visual items. Young people upto 13 years old can borrow
up to eight books and two audio visual items.
