Can I join if I don't live in Newham?
Yes you can.
What ID do I need to join?
We ask for one form of ID and it must show your name and current address. Some accepted forms of ID include your driver's licence, Council Tax bill or a current utilities bill (dated within the last two months).
Is it free to borrow all items?
All books are free to borrow. There are small charges for the hire of CDs and DVDs, although some concessions are available. more...
Can I return borrowed items to other libraries?
Yes, you can return books, DVDs, CDs, videos and talking books to any Newham library including the mobile library.
How many items can I borrow?
Adults may borrow up to 10 books at any one time as well as four audio-visual items. Young people upto 13 years old can borrow up to eight books and two audio visual items.
