Library Services for Young People

Storytelling

Story and rhyme time is run in all 10 static libraries once a week (Stratford library runs two sessions per week).
These sessions aim to encourage parents and carers to read together with their children and it aims to raise literacy levels in the borough. The sessions are an hour long, where we offer interactive storytelling using props to bring books alive, read stories and sing nursery rhymes together with Parents, Carers and their children.
