We will be regularly consulting the
community and key stakeholders as we develop the Local Development
Framework. Check here for details of current and upcoming
consultations. We are currently consulting on The Stratford and
Lower Lea Valley Area Action Plan.
Stratford and Lower Lea Valley Area Action
Plan
An Area Action Plan is being prepared for the Stratford and Lower
Lea Valley to set out what kind of place the area will be in the
future and what kind of development will help make that happen. The
Stratford and Lower Lea Valley Area Action Plan document sets out
realistic options on which we now seek your views.
Consultation will run from 18th July until
30th September 2008.

Development Control Manual (DPD) Sustainability
Appraisal
The Borough recently consulted on a Sustainability Appraisal and
Strategic Environmental Assessment Scoping Report specific to the
emerging Development Control Manual Development Plan Document
(DPD).

Previous Consultation Documents
Formal consultation on the Preferred Options for the Joint Waste
Development Plan Document (DPD) for East London ran from 7th April
2008 to 19th May 2008.
