- What is the Local Development Framework
(LDF)?
- The LDF is a folder of documents which will set the scene for
the development and regeneration of the borough over the next 20
years. It is made up of a series of Development Plan Documents
(DPD's). A diagram of LDF documents can be downloaded from
DOCUMENTS section on the right hand side.
- What are Development Plan Documents
(DPD's)?
- DPD's form the statutory plan which sets out the borough's
vision, strategy and policies. They are subject to extensive
community involvement, consultation and independent
examination.
- What is the The Local Development Scheme
(LDS)?
- The Local Development Scheme (LDS) sets out the timetable
necessary to deliver the LDF (based on a three-year
programme).
