1. Cabinet and Statutory Team

The Cabinet and Statutory Team is mainly responsible for the day-to-day management of our political decision making bodies, including:

• Supporting council meetings, the mayoral decision making and cabinet meetings
• Quasi Judicial bodies
• partnership bodies such as the Local Strategic Partnership
• Civic Ambassadorial role
• Administration and advice on members allowances and members code of conduct

2. Ward Support Team

The Ward Support Team is responsible for providing a range of services to Members including:

• Supporting member development and conference requests
• Casework support
• Supporting the influential Councillor role
• Maintaining information systems for members such as members contact details, ward information bulletin
• Housekeeping support for members, e.g. requests for equipment
• Other project work involving members
