Other Methods - at the bank, Telephone and Cash Payment Card

Other ways of paying including at a bank, by Automated Telephone and by Payment Card.

Automated Telephone Payments (020 8430 2000)
Provided you have a keypad telephone, you can make payments by telephoning 020 8430 2000.

Please have your payment details and appropriate reference number to hand and follow the simple instructions. This service is available 24 hours a day .

This service will inform you of an Authorisation number for the card payment provided the card is accepted. Please keep a note of it.

At a Bank
Banks will accept payment but may make a charge for this service. Complete the payment slip send to you in our correspondence and present it with your payment.

By Cash Payment Card
Take your payment card to any outlet displaying the following signs PayZone, Pay Point Post office and E-Pay. You will receive a full list of outlet locations available in your area when you receive your card. You can also use the Allpay website www.allpay.net to find out which outlets are closest to you by entering your post code in the search field.

The cashier will 'swipe' your card to obtain your account details. Your card will then be returned to you along with a receipt. You should keep your receipt in case you have any queries about your account.

Payment is transferred into your Rent or Council Tax account in approximately 3 working days.

How do I get a Cash Payment Card?
Call Customer Services on 020 8430 2000 and ask to speak to a officer for a council tax card and call 020 8430 6327 for a housing or garage rent card. You will need a separate cash payment card for each account.
