Payments
Paying by Post or in
Person
We will accept payments by cash or cheque
for many services. Including: Council Tax, housing rent, and
parking permits and Penalty Charge Notices.
Council Tax Payments
Enclose one payment voucher and send it with your cheque or postal
order to:

Please write your account number, name and address on the back of
the cheque.
Rent Payments
You can pay by cash or cheque at some
Local Service Centres.
Parking Payments
Permit Applications - By Post
Postal applications are encouraged to prevent queuing and these
should be sent to:

Permit Applications - In Person
At the Parking Shop, permits are issued between the
hours of 9.00am to 4.30pm Monday - Friday and 9.00am - 1.00pm
Saturday.
However, you may also take your completed application form and
necessary documents to the following Local Service Centres:

Opening hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Manor Park Local Service Centre

Parking Penalty Charge Notices
Payments By Post
Cheque or postal order payments should be made payable to
London Borough of Newham.. Please make sure that
you write the Penalty Charge Notice number reference number
(starting 'NE....') on the reverse of the cheque/postal order.
Post-dated cheques will not be accepted. Dishonoured cheques will
result in you having to pay the full amount. Do not send
cash in the post. For how to pay by cash, look at
'Payments In Person', below.
For credit/debit card payments, please complete all sections of the
payment slip on the original Penalty Charge Notice and send it to
the address below. Please note we do not accept American Express or
Diners Club cards. If paying by cheque, please make sure the cheque
guarantee card number is written clearly on the back of the
cheque.

between the hours of 9.00am and 5.00pm (Monday - Friday) and 9.00am
