Pollution and Noise from Construction
In a growing borough like Newham there are
always major construction projects underway that may cause
inconvenience and add to noise pollution for residents. The
Pollution Control Unit monitors and controls the noise and dust
from major construction and development projects within the borough
and is engaged in continual dialogue with contractors on ways to
control the environmental impact of construction
works.
