Freecycle Network - Giving away usable items in Newham

Freecycle is a non-profit grassroots movement about giving (and getting) stuff for free in your own town. The worldwide Freecycle Network is made up of many individual groups across the globe and was started in May 2003 to promote waste reduction and reuse.
Freecycle groups match people who have things they want to get rid of with people who can use them. Their goal is to keep usable items out of landfills. Using Freecycle also encourages people to get rid of junk that they no longer need and promote community involvement in the process.

Visit the Freecycle website to find out more. Newham also has its own Newham Freecycle Group.
