Find out if your child is eligible for a
Free School Meal...
You can apply for free school meals if:
- You get Income Support
- You get Income Based Jobseeker's Allowance
- You are being supported under part VI of the Immigration and
Asylum Act 1999
- You get Child Tax Credit and your combined annual income (as
assessed by The Inland Revenue) does not exceed £15,575. This
includes both your benefits and any other income
- You get the Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit
- You are a child receiving Income Support or Income-Based
Jobseeker's Allowance in their own right
You should not apply if:
- You are a foster parent for a Social Services Department
- You are receiving Working Tax Credit
- Your child is over 16 years of age and attends a College of
Further Education
