Get on board for some family fun at the
Royal Victoria Dock Watersports Centre (RVDWC).
The Royal Victoria Dock Watersports Centre provides
opportunities for people of all abilities to participate safely in
a variety of water based activities.
The RVDWC is a recognised Royal
Yachting Association (RYA) teaching establishment and British
Canoe Union (BCU) approved centre. We run a number of national
schemes and courses, both in sailing and canoeing, that lead
to qualifications, as well as a variety of sessions just for
fun.
Activities on offer include:
- Sailing
- Canoeing/kayaking
- Bellboating
- Rowing
- Powerboat instruction
- Raft building
- Corporate events and team building
The RVDWC caters for all users. Most
of the boats and canoes are now accessible. The Water Sports
Centre is also Outdoor Adventures Activities Licensed
Approved. If you would like to receive a copy of the RVDWC

Membership
The RVDWC offers a variety of adult, couple, family, senior
citizen/OAP, under 18/student and company memberships.
Membership to our watersports centre includes a range of
benefits:
- Free open sessions
- Dedicated open sessions just for members (Saturday
afternoons)
- Discounts on courses
- Boat storage
- Full access to our fleet of dinghies and canoes (some
restrictions may apply)
