What is Futsal?
Futsal is indoor football with a difference. A high-paced
five-a-side game, officially recognised by FIFA, that helps players
improve their ball skills and tactical awareness.

The age group for the Newham Futsal League is 16+, anyone under
this age range is not permitted to participate.
Newham Futsal league
The 2008-2009 Futsal League season has already started, with
matches taking place at various venues every weeks. The winners of
the league will be entered into the FA Futsal Cup, a national
competition organised by the Football Association; in turn, the
winners of the FA Futsal Cup will gain entry to the UEFA Futsal
Cup.

Newham Futsal
League
The league cup is designed for clubs based within the league to
contest for the cup competition. The Cup will take place in January
2009.
Dee koojie and Junior Konadu-Yiadom of Genesis FC
have recently been called up to the England Futsal team for the
next set of international games. Former players of the Newham
Futsal league include Wesley Thomas of Dagenham and Redbridge
Football Club and Dominic Green of Peterbrough Football Club.
Newham Futsal Cup
The competition is a contest that is open to any team wishing to
take part in futsal activities. It's a chance for teams to
experience futsal and compete against teams already placed with the
Newham Futsal League.
Newham Futsal Under 16's League
The first annual Newham Futsal Under 16's League
will start in September and will be based at the new Multi Use
Games Area in Stratford Park.
