football competition for young people and adults.

Basketball & Handball Challenges Now is your chance to
bounce throw or slam dunk way into spring! In April Newham's
Community Forums are holding inter-forum basketball and handball
competitions for young people and adults Winners of the Basketball
heats will play in a final on Sunday 13th April and winners of the
Handball heats will compete for the winner's title on Sunday 27th
April. At the Finals there'll be free entertainment for everyone to
enjoy!!

All girls from the ages of 8 - 11yrs old are all welcom to come
and join in at West Ham Football Club. Free of charge

An opportunity for local young people to perform in a Olympic
venue Cheer and dance teams are invited to showcase their skills
and win awards at ExCeL London on Saturday, 5th April 2008,
1.30-4.30pm. The England Cheerleading team will be performing a
display. 5th April Showcase, Cheer Camps will be held in addition
on April 7th and 8th, 10:30 - 12:30 at ExCel London. The ExCeL

Take part in East London's biggest young athletes road race. Try
for a place in your Borough's Team for the Addias Mini London
Marathon and test your endurance as well around this traffic free
road racing course.

The Ramgarhia Badminton Club is an excellent example of a
successful community sports club. The Ramgarhia Badminton Senior
Club has been running for over 15 years and the junior club was
formed in October 2004 and has been an overwhelming success story.
The Club has increased participation amongst both young people and
adults by providing positive sporting activities.

sporting challenge, then handball may just be the sport for you.
Handball is one of the most popular sports in the world and the
second most popular in Europe.

Improve your football skills by playing Futsal, five-a-side
football with a difference. The third Newham Futsal League started
on the 15th July 2008 and will Finish 20th January 2009.

Basketball Club are holding a free basketball camp from Monday,
July 30 to Friday, August 3.

We provide a variety of free sports activities throughout the
year for young people in Newham, aged 8 to 19 years old. All
sessions are delivered by qualified coaches and open to people of
all abilities.

We provide a number of sports and activities for young people
with disabilities.

We have cut the price of swimming for under 16s to only £1
during the term time, from Monday to Saturday (programme
permitting).
