What You Can Do

There are many things happening in our streets that cause a nuisance or danger to others.

Most are the result of residents and businesses being unaware of the problems they may be causing to neighbours. Others are a result of a total disregard for the surrounding community.

This section is filled with practical advice and information about a range of issues that everyone needs to be aware about. This information will not only avoid nuisances developing, but will also let you know exactly who to call if you are having a problem in your home or near where you live.

You can call 020 8430 2000 or contact mark.thomas@newham.gov.uk to request a service or make a report about your street.

Problems on the street for major routes such as the A13 are the responsibility of Transport for London and can be generally identified by the red road markings. You can report these problems to TfL on the Transport for London website we will also be happy to pass on problems reported here to them.

Thank you for helping us to keep the streets of Newham in good condition. We will follow up everything in your report and take the necessary action.
