Local Implementation Plan 2005/06 to 2010/11

The Local Implementation Plan (LIP) is a statutory document that sets out a plan of how the borough proposes to implement the Mayor's Transport Strategy (MTS).
It gives London local authorities the opportunity to present their full range of transport initiatives and projects, and to show how and when they will address local transport issues through delivery of the MTS in an integrated manner.

Newham's Local Implementation Plan (LIP) was approved by the Mayor of London in July 2007. The document is updated by the LIP Report and Funding Submission which is prepared annually by the Council's Public Realm Department. Further information or copies of the LIP Report and Funding Submission are available by contacting the Traffic Service on 020 8430 2758.

All files are available as pdfs - some are very large and may take a minute or two to download.
