Supplementary
Planning Guidance
Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPGs)
provide additional guidance to the policies contained within the
UDP on specific planning issues.
SPGs will continue to inform decision making where
relevant.
From 2008, under the
Local Development
Framework, new documents called
Supplementary Planning Documents (SPDs) will be made available
to supplement and/or supercede SPGs.
