What is a Unitary Development Plan?: In conjunction with our strategies for Housing, Regeneration, Transport and Education, the Unitary Development Plan (UDP) sets the agenda for transforming and regenerating Newham. The UDP provides the land use planning framework for guiding the borough's physical change and improvement.
What is Supplementary Planning Guidance?: Supplementary Planning Guidance (SPGs) provide additional guidance to the policies contained within the UDP on specific planning issues.SPGs will continue to inform decision making where relevant.
