Volunteering

FAQs

Frequently asked questions concerning Regular Volunteering.
How do I contact Timebank? (TimeBank is a national charity inspiring and connecting people to share and give time. TimeBank appeals to people like you who know that their time and skills are in demand - but just don't know what to do about it or where to start)
You can find their website at http://www.timebank.org.uk
What's in it for me?
Volunteering is rewarding in many ways. Aside from the chance to do something for your community, you get to meet new people, learn new skills and many volunteers say it gives them a greater sense of self confidence and also it looks great on your CV.
Do people like me volunteer?
Yes! Volunteers come from all walks of life, from every ethnicity and are of all ages.
I am in full time employment, is there anything I can do?
Yes, there are plenty of opportunities, at different period and times throughout the year. There will be something you can volunteer for. Please contact Julie Creffield on 020 8430 3914.
