Seni08 is Europe's only live exhibition and festival dedicated to
martial arts and combat sports. If you exhibited or attended Seni07
you will have experienced how successful the event has become and
08, being our 10th year, is set to Split into six distinctly themed
zones - 'Classical Warrior', 'FightSport', 'PowerSport',
'Survival', 'Tournament' and Olympic Youth.
Each of the zones delivers proactive exciting feature events and
talent to enable the show to appeal to the widest range of fighting
art practitioners, visitors and enthusiasts.
The Seni show has come a long way since
its first expo in 1999, staged at the NEC in Birmingham. At that
time it was very much an exhibitor led event and more of a martial
arts marketplace but the show rapidly outgrew its beginnings,
however, and became far more ambitious.
The exhibitors were still at the core but the ancillary sidelines
became bigger, bolder, more adventurous and more interactive,
filling the weekend with numerous mini-showcases that would
eventually develop into a full blown schedule of events.
Seni06 proved to be a landmark, with record
crowds and Seni became recognised as the biggest martial arts expo
worldwide, with a series of events that catered for all aspects of
the martial arts, whilst spilling over into the health and fitness
industry as well.
Seni07 continued the trend, moving to London and
the superb ExCeL and the change saw increased levels of interest
from international sources, including the World's leading mixed
martial arts organisation, the American based UFC (Ultimate
Fighting Championships).
The result saw Seni07 acknowledged as the most complete
inter-active martial arts experience in the world, with over 10
feature arenas, 30 plus live events, 30 plus instructional
seminars, 100s of demonstrations, six open championships and
numerous challenges our visitors could get involved in.
Seni08 sees the return of The Fighting Film
Festival and the tournament zone will double in size from eight
matted areas to 16! With 12 open championships planned across the
two days the "European Open" is the largest group of tournaments
worldwide.
To mark Seni's 10th successful year and to
celebrate the Beijing Olympics, Seni08 is set to be part of the
Chinese governments 'China Now' festivities, so expect a subtle
Chinese flavour running through the event.
Our aim as organisers is simple:- To ensure Seni
continues to provide you the visitor with the industry's most
groundbreaking live event and ultimate weekend out in
