Hi, my name is Faheem Dharma and
I believe you should vote for me to be your next Young Mayor of
Newham.
My main priority goes to those youngsters who have lost hope in
terms of securing a firm career. Many prefer finding an alternative
route instead of studying and I want to help create that direction
by having more apprenticeships; part time and full time jobs and
work experience. I strongly believe there is something out there
for everyone.
My second priority goes towards the youngsters on street corners.
I want more activities that they would enjoy. Keeping the
youngsters occupied will result in less street crime. With less
then a year left till the Olympics I believe this is a great
opportunity to have many events and activities for
youngsters.
Last but not least, I want to have a monthly surgery with myself,
our current Mayor Sir Robin Wales and members of the Youth Council.
I would like to give young people in our community the opportunity
to attend these surgeries, tell us their views and what we as their
representatives can do to make Newham a better place for people to
Live, Work and Stay.
Together we are full of talent; we are the future of Newham. So
let's show society what we really are not the so called labelled
"Hood Rats" So please vote for me.
