I am Mark Kawesa an ambitious
enthusiastic, intelligent and most definitely determined to achieve
Young Mayor of Newham.
My enthusiasm about applying for this position comes from the
desire to make sure the voices of young people are heard. I want to
be a positive influence in the local community. To ensure our
childhood is lived to the fullest, that our childhood is safe and
most of all that the young people of Newham felt that when 'Mark
Kawesa' was Young Mayor that they did not live a silent
childhood.
There are many issues I want to tackle like gang related crime and
the lack of activities for youths. However, I am not saying I will
abolish it but I am saying I will decrease it.
This is one of many major issues I would like to tackle even though
they might seem difficult for a young man like me to achieve.
However, I believe through hard work, great ideas and determination
I will make it my upmost priority to make a satisfying difference
to Newham.
