Newham is one the most deprived
boroughs throughout the UK, is it any wonder why youths turn to a
life on the streets?
If I were elected Young Mayor I would offer a loud and
opinionated voice for the youth of Newham. The youth are
stereotyped in such a manner that it is disgraceful.
People need clarity about the conduct of the majority of youths.
Today's youth have been hijacked by those whom both the youth and
the adult world deem to be a shame. I will offer a clear voice, I
will speak out, I will stand up and defend young people in the face
of scrutiny.
We live in a time where the youth are deprived. In current times,
we will grow up being robbed and will live our life in deprivation
of education, jobs, health services and a whole host of other
things the government are cutting, which we as the youth will bear
the brunt of.
I know the streets, I know those affected, I will take people away
from crime.
The upcoming Olympics provide a great opportunity for the
experience of a lifetime, and the youth need to take this
opportunity. There is little awareness, which is something I will
address.
Together, we can make a difference.
