Cuts. Closures.
Community.
We have all been affected by at least one of the three, now it's
time for improvements NOT change.
As long as I can remember, I have always been part of the strong,
diverse and aspiring Newham culture, watching our community
grow.
Due to the lack of funds provided from the government, Newham have
seen a drastic decrease in youth clubs, when there should be an
increase of youth services. I would like to make youth services
more inclusive.
As an athlete, I would like to see an increase in the sport sector
for young people with a disability as it gives them a chance to get
more involved in the Paralympics.
It's a privilege to be living in the host borough for the
Olympics, but I would like to see more sport opportunities for
girls as it seems like there isn't enough activities for girls to
get involved in when there should be equal opportunities for both
genders.
Our generation is full of potential and possibility; qualities that
as a young person within Newham, I have witnessed.
Just remember "Our dreams can come true, only if we put the effort
in"
- A vote for me is a step closer to improvement
