Fund
Youth Opportunity Fund awards
grants of up to £25 000 to improve things to do and places to go
for young people in Newham.
You can apply to be on the Youth Panel which assesses
bids and awards grants to successful projects.
If you have designed a project that led by young people, for young
people, you can make a bid for a Youth Opportunity Fund grant
2010-11.
Who can apply?
Any Newham young people aged 13 - 19 living or at school or
college in Newham. You will need the support of an organisation
e.g. school, youth club.
What funds are available?
Grants between £1,000 to £25,000 depending on the type of
activity/project being considered.
Who will decide?
A Youth Panel led by the Young Mayor of Newham and Youth Council
will decide which projects will be funded.
