Nominees Training

Here are some great photos from the Nominees Training day this year - what a fun day! Tommy and I spent the whole day with this year's nominees for Young Mayor and the Youth Council. We gave them advice and talked about our experiences from last year on how to run their campaigns and involve other young people. Tommy and I also held a Q&A Panel with Cllr Quintin Peppiatt which raised some really important questions about the involvement of young people in Newham. I really enjoyed the day, although it was strange to think that in a few weeks time some of the people in the room would be taking over as the next Young Mayor and Youth Council - so watch this space!
