	4 November, 2010 Young Mayor Election Night Following weeks of campaigning, more than 7,500 young people from across the borough cast their vote to elect the fourth Young Mayor of Newham. The votes were counted at East Ham town hall and 17-year-old Ali Mohamed was declared the winner.
	28 March, 2011 Young Mayor at the Junior Newham London Run Budding young athletes of all abilities aged 11-17 took part in the first ever Junior Newham London Run. The race, which attracted more than 400 competitors, took place entirely within the Stratford City site.
