Holocaust commemoration Event

27 January, 2012

Abraham was invited to attend 'Speak Up, Speak Out' Holocaust memorial event in central London.

Abraham said' the evening was truly eye opening, with a number of presentations and exhibitions outlining the impact of the Holocaust on so many peoples lives. It was a privilege to speak to people who witnessed and were affected by the events that took place.'

Youth Councillor Michael Meshe, also supported the event and performed alongside his youth choir, Solid Harmony. The choir drew an end to proceedings, with a well received performance.

Both Abraham and Michael signed the Holocaust Memorial Day 2012 pledge at the end of the evening vowing to 'give voice to the voiceless and to use their words to draw attention to the experiences of others.'
