Newham Compact

The Newham Compact is a written agreement between four of Newham's key statutory sector organisations and Newham's voluntary, community and faith sectors (VCFS).

The compact is based on best practice from across the country as well as local consultation and follows on from the 1998 agreement to a National Compact.

The agreement provides a robust framework to guide effective working between the statutory sector and VCFS in Newham.

The Newham Compact demonstrates our commitment to building effective partnerships in Newham and ensuring Newham's residents receive the best services.
