Partnership
The vision of Newham Partnership
is to make Newham a place where people choose to live, work and
stay.
Newham Partnership is the name of the
Local Strategic Partnership for Newham. It
brings together different parts of the public sector as well as
the private, business, community and voluntary sectors so that
different initiatives and services support each other to work
together.
It is a non-statutory body responsible for developing and driving
the implementation of
Newham's Sustainable Community Strategy and
Local Area Agreement (LAA).
The strategic decision making body of Newham Partnership is
Newham Partnership Board (NPB). The Board
oversees the various other LSP bodies including the Chief Officers
Group and the Local Action Partnership Boards. Newham Partnership
Board is chaired by the directly elected Mayor of Newham Sir Robin
Wales.
