Funding Strategy
Statement
Legislation in 2004 provides the
statutory framework from which the council is required to prepare a
Funding Strategy Statement (FSS). Therefore the 2005 statement is
the first.
The Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) (England and
Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 provide this statutory
framework.
This statement has been prepared by the London Borough of Newham
(the Administering Authority) to set out the funding strategy for
the Council Pension Fund.
