Inspection and Audit of Accounts for the year ended 31 March
2012.
Notice is hereby given that pursuant to the Audit
Commission Act 1998, Section 14, 15 and 16 and the Accounts and
Audit Regulations 2011, the Accounts for the year ended 31 March
2012 will be open to Public Inspection from 9 August to 7 September
2012 inclusive. Any person interested may inspect and make copies
of the accounts by:
- coming to Newham Town Hall reception, Barking Road E6
2RP, between 10am and 4pm
- online on the
Statement of Accounts pagewriting to D Hindson, Director of
Finance, Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road, London, E16 2QU
- emailing
chief.accountant@newham.gov.uk
- by phoning 020 8430 2000
On 10 September 2012, any local government elector from the Newham
area or their representative can question the External Auditor
about the accounts for the year ended 31 March 2012, and can make
an objection to any item in the Accounts.
