Marriage and civil
partnership licences
People who want to use their
premises for a civil marriage or partnership must be in possession
of a licence which approves those premises.
The purpose of the licence is to ensure that the
premises are safe and appropriate. There is a minimum period of 28
days for the application to be considered.
