The Crime and Disorder
Reduction Newham Partnership
The Crime and Disorder Reduction
Partnership exists to make Newham a safer place to live and work by
reducing crime and anti social behaviour, tackling substance misuse
and addressing the fear of crime across all sections of the
community.
To achieve this we carry out:
- Analyse levels of crime and disorder in Newham audit of
crime and disorder
- Consult with local people and organisations on what they think
our priorities should be,
- Develop strategies and lead initiatives to tackle the problems
identified , e.g. crime, the impact of crime, anti social behaviour
and drug related activity.
The unit also works with a wide range of local community and
voluntary organisations to deliver our strategies.
