London Warm Zone
insulation grants
Grants of up to 100% for loft and
cavity wall installation may be available under a partnership
between Newham Council and London Warm Zone.
Residents who own their own home or rent it privately may
be able to have insulation work carried out for
FREE if they meet the following
criteria:
- Are in receipt of certain income or disability related
benefits
- OR are aged 60 - 69 and retired or not in paid employment
- OR are aged 70 or over
- OR are a family with children under 16, with an income of less
than £25,000 per year
For those who do not fall into these categories, insulation is
offered from £99, which is a discount of approximately
75%.
London Warm Zone arranges a free home assessment to find out how
energy efficiency could be improved and what help the resident
qualifies for. They then arrange for the work to be carried out by
approved contractors.
