Gullies
Gullies are the channels beside
the kerb that drain rainwater. We will inspect any reported defects
within one working day.
Use the Report a Street or Estate Problem form to
report blocked or flooded gullies that are causing large puddles
to form on roadways or pavements.
We will make the defect safe or carry out any necessary repairs to
safety defects within 48 hours, although we will not necessarily
treat small puddles unless they exceed the council's safety
standards.
Household drains on private property are not the responsibility of
Newham Council.
