- Can I take asbestos to the RRC?

Asbestos can be disposed of at the site but please telephone
before you visit to ensure there is sufficient space in the
containers. It must be wetted and double-bagged.
- What times is the RRC open?

07:30 - 17:45. Open every day (except for Christmas & New
Year's Day). Restricted hours on Boxing Day.
- I run a business can I still dispose of my rubbish at the
RRC?

Whilst it is free to dispose of household waste, any waste that
is perceived by the site staff to have been produced through the
activities of a business will be subject to the following charges.
Up to 180kg - £40; Every further 50kg - £5; One Tonne -
£160
- What identification do I need to show to prove I am a resident
of Newham?

In order to demonstrate that you are a resident of Newham so
that you can tip unrestricted waste free of charge, you must show a
valid driving licence or Council Tax statement.
