charter
A new charter setting out minimum
standards for witnesses has been negotiated between Newham and
partner organisations.
These include: Newham police, Victim Suport, Conflict and
Change, and 22 housing landlords (including Newham Homes and many
Housing Associations). The charter has been published in a pack
which includes a guide to legal proceedings, report sheets for
anti-social behaviour, information on Victim Support. The charter
has space for different organisations to add their own
leaflets.
