Partnership Working
with Forum for the Future
Newham recently began partnership
work with Forum for the Future, a sustainable development
charity.
Forum for the Future help organisations to manage the
risks that global challenges such as climate change, populations
growth and energy security may bring.
Our partnership working with Forum for the Future will help us to
develop a clear corporate vision and strategy - a strategy that
goes beyond 'green' issues. The challenge for us is to create
sustainable economic growth, alongside the current regeneration
projects being carried out in the borough. We are seeking to focus
on sustainability as one of the key drivers for decision making in
future years.
The work we carry out with Forum for the Future will support us in
establishing strong Partnership working - creating new ways of
working in partnership with other organisations is an essential
approach to sustainable development.
