Local Implementation Plan 2011/12 to 2013/14

The Council is required by Transport for London (TfL) to produce a Local Implementation Plan (LIP) outlining the Borough's transport policies and programmes for the next few years.

The current LIP document expires on 31 March 2011, and a new LIP document which comes into effect from 1 April 2011 is now under preparation by the council.

A draft of the document is now available for comments and observations from key stakeholders and members of the public, and all responses received will be considered for incorporation into the final draft of the document to be submitted to TfL.

The TfL LIP2 document approvals process is now anticipated to run from April through to July 2011 so the Council is able to extend the consultation period on the draft LIP2 document until 31 March 2011.
