Newham has prepared a Core Strategy - a new spatial plan for the borough. It forms the overarching development plan and sets out the long-term spatial vision and spatial policies for the borough. It is key to delivering the Council's Sustainable Community Strategy and implement parts of the London Plan, such as housing and employment targets.
