Newham residents are invited to attend one of the UK’s biggest rock festivals and see Bruce Springsteen and Kasabian for free.
Newham Council and Live Nation have joined forces to make this once-in-a-lifetime offer exclusively to Newham residents. One thousand tickets will be given away for each night.

Hard Rock Calling is one of the UK’s biggest music festivals. On Saturday 29 June, indie legends Kasabian will perform in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park supported by mod-father Paul Weller, Mercury Music Prize nominated Miles Kane, The Cribs, The Klaxons and many more musicians from the alternative rock scene.

On Sunday 30 June US icon Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will take to the stage performing some of his greatest hits. He will be supported by The Black Crowes and Alabama Shakes.

Sir Robin Wales said: “What better way to celebrate the opening of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park than to watch these musical legends in the same place where history was made during the 2012 Games only a year ago. We’ve worked hard to secure a lasting community legacy from the Games for our residents, and by working in partnership with Live Nation, we’ve been able to secure this fantastic offer.

“I made a promise that residents will benefit from every aspect of the Olympic legacy. That means new jobs, new homes, new facilities and now free tickets. I am delighted to be able to offer these tickets and deliver on our commitment to provide a lasting legacy that will bring benefits for the whole community.”
