The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) and the Mayor of Newham have jointly announced a further opportunity for residents in the six east London Host Boroughs to experience the Olympic Games.

“I’m pleased to announce we have secured exclusive tickets for the Olympic Park for local residents to purchase,” said Sir Robin Wales the Mayor of Newham.

“The tickets will allow you to experience the atmosphere of the Park during the Games, watch live sporting action on the Live Site big screen and enjoy the waterways and parklands. The ticket will also enable you to buy tickets to the Orbit for the day you wish to visit the Park.

“Numbers are limited so Newham residents should act fast.”

How to get tickets

There are over 1,500 tickets available to Newham residents to visit the Olympic Park.

Tickets are available for morning and evening sessions during the first week of the Olympic Games. There are an equal number of tickets per session and these will be sold on a first come first served basis. The tickets do not allow access to any venue within the Park, though tickets for the Orbit can be purchased separately.

Please note: The ticket offer is no longer available.
