Business parking permits

With a business parking permit you can park in a permit holders only bay within any of our residential parking zones.

You can also park within a 'shared use' bay. This is a parking space used by permit holders or motorists displaying a valid pay and display ticket.

You cannot apply for a business parking permit if you run a business from a residential address.

Apply for or renew a business parking permit

The vehicle for which a parking permit is being applied for must not exceed 2.3 metres in height and/or 5.3 metres in length.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to check their vehicle dimensions before applying for a parking permit.

If a permit is issued and it is found that the vehicle exceeds the above dimensions the permit will be cancelled and any appropriate payment refund will be made. Vehicles seen displaying a cancelled permit during the operational hours of a Resident Parking Zone (RPZ) will be issued with a penalty charge notice (PCN).

Please read the full permit terms and conditions in the application form before making your application.

It is your responsibility to renew your permit. You must renew your permit in the same way as you apply for a new permit

You can renew your permit up to six weeks before its expiry date. However you must allow a minimum of 10 working days for your permit to be printed, posted and arrive at your address.

If you make a late renewal, make sure you park legally until you receive your renewed permit.
