Cost of a licence to store materials on the street
You can store materials on the street for a short time if the council says you can, but there might be conditions. The fee is:
- £62 per week (or part of a week) for up to 14 days
- £76 per week after the 14 day period.
You may not put materials in a designated parking space unless our Parking Control Service agrees to this in writing. To contact the Parking Control Service, email suspension.dispensation@newham.gov.uk.
If you do store materials on the street without a licence you may get a fixed penalty fine of £100 or, in more serious cases, you may be prosecuted.
